Eze Ekwutoziam and Chibueze Izuogu On The Brink of Signing for Norwegian Club
Enyimba midfielders, Eze Ekwutoziam and Chibueze Izuogu are on the brink of signing for a Norwegian Club.
The duo traveled to Norway last week. The pair played in the friendly game against FC Kallon of Sierra Leone, which the People’s Elephants won. Interestingly, both goals came from Chibueze Izuogu and Eze Ekwutoziam.
Eze and Izuogu have been spotted at Hamkam FC’s training’s training ground, wearing the club’s regalia. This could be as a result of collaboration between Enyimba and the Norwegian Club. Officials of the club were at the Enyimba Stadium in February, where they held training sessiond with Academy players and youth team coaches.
Eze Ekwutoziam was one of the club’s best players last season, being the player with most appearances. He got goals and assists and also played in various positions, a rare type of versatility which makes him a precious asset.
Chibueze Izuogu quickly grew into the team after making his debut in the African Football League and getting league game time too, the most memorable being a stunning winner against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
Details of the deal are yet to be confirmed by Hamkam FC or Enyimba.
