Good morning Gents ,
I’ll only start with the last line from yesterday’s blog and that is because someone asked. The answer is Yes! Yours truly is a Donald Trump fan. Why? The reason is simple – if you carefully examine the issues on the table, and you are honest to yourself, you know the alternative is unimaginable.
If I may. I’ll like to digress off Enyimba a little bit today. Not because there isn’t some nonsense coming out of the club that needs addressing but because perhaps we need to think and try to devise a better way to deal it. I’ll give you an example. Yesterday I heard the players had no water in camp. Read that again, there was no water for the players in that shithole where the players live. Who has heard of such nonsense?
The only logical explanation is that the folks running the club have no plans to push it toward success. They do seem to have an agenda to literally destroy the club. Players are owed despite payments released promptly by the State Governor, player welfare is literally at the bottom of the list of things this management cares about. Player moral is at an all time low and we play Remo Stars on Sunday. Maybe it’s time Alex Otti gets a letter from us. Maybe.
Back to Donald Trump, because continuing the train of thought above may ruin what should be a happy Thursday. The Democratic Party in America ran this elections on Abortion. Women’s reproductive rights. Rights that no one had denied them. Rights that the President elect says he was leaving for the State Governments to decide. Yet they made it an issue and ran an election campaign off it.
Whereas there are issues like the Economy/inflation and immigration that significantly affects the common people. Then again the woke agenda that says it is perfectly fine for boys to play women sports. Or like that transgender woman who got himself/herself (whatever) incarcerated in a female prison and has been on a spree, getting women pregnant, even though he identifies as a woman. These things are just mind boggling.
Truth is, our world needs some sanity and some light. The world is at the crux of a World War. Uncharacteristically weak American leadership means world leaders have been exceeding their reach. Grabbing each other by the throat. Literally doing whatever they choose and serving their interests and the interests of those who installed them.
You don’t have to like Donald Trump as a person but his first tenure showed us a little bit of what he is like. And the fact that he survived the massive hits against him yet he prevailed must be a Testament to some divine purpose and his resilience as a person. He literally had everything thrown at him including 2 assassination attempts. Yet here he is, victorious again.
I think the Democrats lost the Elections because they believed the lies they told themselves. Just like some folks running Enyimba right now believe that they can run the club however way they like to no consequence. That’s what unchecked power does to you. You quickly forget just how ephemeral your authority and your significance actually is. You feel you’re answerable to no one and you forget that life always has checks and balances.
It is also a Testament to the fact that alot of most “powerful” people don’t want to hear – You are a man, you are only a man. You need God. You may have all the power and authority right now, but you are a man. I mean you aren’t even sure you will wake with the rest of the world tomorrow. You need to not only recognize God but to live your life embracing the right virtues and values and morals. Maybe nobody had told you or maybe you have forgotten but my late dad told me – You are accountable to God for your life and conduct. Live right.
